Built with a nautical flair, this variation on a pudao or glaive is styled after a serrated fishing harpoon. It's guard is welded permanently in place to avoid rattling. The poplar handle scales are epoxied and pinned in place, and reinforced with rounded bolts on the but end to avoid separation over time. The full tang construction has been skeletonized underneath the handle scales for a significant reduction in weight.
